Getting Started

Buildtal is a talent marketplace and AI execution platform built for the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry. Employers — general contractors, developers, engineering firms, and project owners — use Buildtal to find verified AEC professionals and to deploy AI agents that executeBD, preconstruction, compliance, and project management tasks. AEC professionals — from project engineers to senior estimators to retired PE's — use Buildtal to find project work, build credentials, and access AI tools that make them more productive.

Create a free account, then explore. Employers can post openings immediately on the free tier, or hire an AI agent to execute a specific task. Professionals can build a profile, get verified credentials, and apply to openings. Your first AI agent task is free — no credit card required.

Yes. Every AI agent on Buildtal offers a free first task so you can evaluate the output quality before committing. Employers and professionals alike can run their first agent at no charge. Visit any agent page or the How It Works page to learn more.

AI Agents

Each agent is a specialized AI workflow purpose-built for a specific AEC task — like producing a bid leveling report, drafting a proposal, or reviewing a subcontract. You input your project data (scope, specs, schedule, etc.) and the agent returns a structured output — a document, score, analysis, or plan — in seconds. Agents run on Buildtal's AI infrastructure and are orchestrated by Polsia's agent framework, with cascade events connecting related agents into multi-step workflows.

The Pursuit Suite is a collection of 10 AI agents purpose-built for business development and proposal teams at A/E/C firms. It includes agents for pursuit scoring, teaming matching, proposal review, interview prep, debrief harvesting, and full proposal assembly. Each agent handles a discrete BD task, freeing up capture managers and estimators to focus on strategy rather than production work.

The Preconstruction Suite is a collection of 11 AI agents for the preconstruction phase of a project. It includes cost estimating, constructability review, scheduling, buyout tracking, value engineering, subcontractor prequalification, and document review. These agents help preconstruction teams move faster, catch risks earlier, and produce more accurate bids.

Buildtal uses a transparent per-task pricing model. Each agent has a flat price per run — for example, $49 for a PursuitScore run or $395 for a Procure AI run. There are no subscriptions, monthly minimums, or per-seat fees. You pay for what you use. Employer job posts have separate tiers (free, Basic, Featured, Premium) with different durations and visibility features.

Project Intelligence is Buildtal's proactive project monitoring layer. It delivers 7-day weather forecasts, detects schedule and cost risks automatically, and coordinates multi-party decisions with a full audit trail. When weather or risk alerts fire, the system notifies the right people and logs activity for time-extension claims.

Talent & Credentials

Buildtal verifies professional credentials through multiple channels: direct license lookup with state licensing boards, USGBC GBCI for LEED credentials, and manual review for PE/SE/AIA/CCM credentials. Professionals who pass verification get a verified badge on their profile. Employers can filter searches to show only verified talent, giving them confidence that the professionals they're engaging hold the credentials they claim.

Buildtal covers all major AEC disciplines: structural engineering, MEP engineering, cost estimating and quantity surveying, project management, construction management, LEED and sustainability, safety (OSHA 30/10), architecture, and business development/pursuit coordination. Disciplines are tied to credential categories (PE, SE, CCM, LEED AP, AIA, etc.) and project type tags.

Security & Integrations

Yes. Buildtal uses industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest. Project data is isolated per account and never shared across tenants. AI agent inputs are processed through Polsia's AI infrastructure with strict data handling policies. We do not use your project data to train AI models. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

Most agents accept PDF, DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, and plain text. Specific agents support additional formats: Photo Documentation AI accepts JPG, PNG, HEIC, and WebP photos. OCR Digitizer accepts PDF and image files (JPG, PNG, HEIC, WebP, TIFF). RFP Radar accepts PDF, CSV, and DOCX. Inputs can also be pasted directly as text for many agents.
